You would think Carlotta Sippel is the stereotypical hockey girl but nothing is further from the truth.

There is something fascinating about Lotty, a reason why we wanted to photograph her. Often, deviance from the norm creates something exquisite. There is an interesting paradox in Carlotta. On one hand, she embodies the ‘Bourgeois Hockey Girl’ type yet on the other hand, her style express an unexpected street flavour.

We love a beautiful contradiction, so Carlotta become a ‘must-shoot’ for us!

His looks and the fact that he moved from far to play at the highest level might be unusual on his sport. Out of the norm. Could make him vulnerable yet works the other way around. Makes him a subject of admiration.
