Bernardo Moura is a Portuguese show jumper based in Normandy, France.
The Equestrian love runs in the Moura family for three generations. It was almost inevitable not to be influenced on following the steps of his predecessors.
Yet, he wants things differently. Understanding that showjumping is at a crucial moment to remain relevant. Particularly among younger generations.
Although, balance is required. Between accountability and a modern, sophisticated way to portray the equestrian world.

How was the process of creation?
To innovate (often disrupt) without affecting the brand coherence on a rather conservative environment presents a challenge.
Bernardo englobes different sportive and commercial areas on his platform. From competition, coaching to sales and breeding. A wide range involving different audiences and stakeholders.
Moura Equestrian becomes simultaneously a personal brand and a multidisciplinary platform.
What inspires this project?
The intense bound between rider and horse. A closer angle towards the animal, rather than looking to the horse as an ‘athlete’ or a ‘competitive’ element.
To portray behaviours and personality traits of each horse.
Furthermore, the desire to reveal a different side of the sport, away from the classic action scenes.
What is mundane, possibly imperfect yet authentic about the equestrian experience?
